Re: U18 Squad
I see rus tuima's name regularly mentioned scoring for the exeter u18's from no 8. Maunder jnr is a 10 and I know nothing interesting about the other lads really.

Re: U18 Squad
Sam Spink has looked handy enough for Wasps in the AW, got a good amount of game time against Tigers.

Only know about the two Tigers lads. (Should be more)
George Martin and Cameron Jordan are both very big locks and very agressive at this age level.

Quite a few relations of past/present names in there.
Please let Kieran Wilkinson be one of them

Re: U18 Squad
A mixing of the Vunipola and Tuilagi bloodlines... at U18 level... surely that's cheating!Mellsblue wrote:Manu Vunipola!!! Please god let that be a clone of Mako, Billy and Manu Tuilagi.

I know he hasn't been upto too much impressive stuff recently, but Logo Mulipola has had twins with Martin Castrogiovanni's sister... I presume they were born in England...

Twins you say? identical?Raggs wrote:I know he hasn't been upto too much impressive stuff recently, but Logo Mulipola has had twins with Martin Castrogiovanni's sister... I presume they were born in England...
Do we go for one on each side? or do we learn from out mistake with the Curries; and go full-on Prestige; keeing one of them hidden away, and have them swap clothes at HT as a free substitution?

2 boys, no idea if identical. Qualify for Samoa, Italy, Argentina and England. Apparently Cockers said in an interview that he was looking into signing them to a pre-birth contract.

I love that whilst Scotland and Wales get their knickers in a twist about trying to stop us poaching their age grade players whilst simultaneously trying to poach ours and NZ trawl the Pacific island ages groups for scholarship candidates we’ve just decide to go straight for genetic engineering.

He's supposed to be quite a good 10 as well - Saracens are very excited about him. I don't believe he's actually related to Billy and Mako and is of a back's build rather than that of a forward.twitchy wrote:I was actually quite disappointed to find out that he is a 10.Mellsblue wrote:Manu Vunipola!!! Tom De Glanville is spoken highly of as well. It is alarming how many rugby players' sons go into Premiership and age group rugby. It's one part early coaching and immersion in the game, but I'd also guess one part nepotism and contacts.

As for nepotism and contacts... no-one ever claimed that age-grade rugby wasn't rife with this. Hopefully not once you reach national age-grade; but certainly for club and county.
Of course, immersion from an early age; and that 4 year old playing pass with dad, instead of throwing tennis balls or kicking round balls is going to help fast-track early on.
Besides, junior rugby ius coached by dads anyway; and I suspect that any ex-pro makes a better rugby coach for all the kids under his watch than your average bloke who played 3rd XV at school before giving up aged 16.
Oh yes, and don't forget that all sports suffer from pushy parents - not just tennis.

I hope not. As he plays scrumhalf I’m hoping he’ll replace Wiggly in the senior squad.p/d wrote:and hopefully not this one....Mellsblue wrote:Manu Vunipola!!! Please god let that be a clone of Mako, Billy and Manu Tuilagi.
