It's incredible. Trump just reiterates stock self praise lines and it takes him about 5-6 minutes to actually clock what is going on with the conversation. Woodward's dialogue with Conway didn't even need Trump to be on the phone. He couldn't process it, he can't process it. He just doesn't appear to understand what the people in his orbit actually do, and those people appear to actively divert the Orange death star away from unsupervised dialogue with any extraterrestrial entity. The deal thing that he claims to be the jedi master of is obviously his weakest link. Fuck my arse, what a complete gumby.

In Trump-supporter news, guy who punched the organiser of the Unite The Right rally last year got a whopping $1 fine with no jail time.

Here's the event, if anyone missed it. Look at the little man run.

A friend of mine coined it well this morning: "Is this meant to be reassuring? Using your unearned position of power to advance your own agenda while everyone else is preoccupied with the unhinged ramblings of our commander-in-chief doesn't make you a big damn hero, whoever you are. It makes you an opportunist, and we already knew the administration was lousy with those."

Civil servsnts and other government types running interference isn’t new. But in this administration there is a clear view that the top man isn’t stable, let alone competent.

The problem with the approach taken is that if trump sacks them all tomorrow, which he can do, then who is to say if the replacements will do the same?

Time to just declare him insane?

I can't be bothered to track down all the relevant videos but there have been some great ones of all the shuffling about that the Trump team do to get the correct kind of people shot when he is speaking.

I think the rest of the videos are in that thread somewhere.

When you put it like that, then no. But there have been a lot of times in the last 4 years when I've been wondering where the hell our civil service was when the Bullingdon Club nutters were running the country like it was their private game of Monopoly.

President Little Bitch should STFU:

"The Woodward book is a scam. I don’t talk the way I am quoted."

If you were quoted then you actually said it, you unmitigated fuckwit.

Trump is Terry Fuckwit.

Trump's comments on the book featuring him as opposed to the book on Obama show him up as a raging hypocrite, but really that's an as expected outcome

Is that just made up nonsense? Partly I never knew white power had a symbol, but also why would anyone other than a child even want a symbol?

Because if you don’t like someone purely because of the colour of their skin you have the cognitive ability of a pre-school child?

How many adults use signals?

I can think of Ashton and Farrell, but that may not meet the standard of adult.

It's an alt-right thing, and "alt-right" is the preferred nomenclature of white supremacist pieces of fucking rancid shit like Richard "Human Punching Bag" Spencer. It started off as a /pol/ prank that got out of hand, because those fuckers, like they do with anything and everything, appropriated it and ruined it for everyone else.

Also, if any of your acquaintances says they identify as "alt-right," call them out for being a nazi cunt, yeah?

Not quite sure if you’re being serious here? There’s a massive amount of bollocks about it, the Zina bash thing for example, but this message that it’s okay for these people to come out of the woodwork is pretty real.

Yep, and there were and have been real life consequences - there has been an upward trend in hate crimes which largely coincided with the surge of the so-called "alt-right" nazis, which was first publicly observed during Gamergate.

It has met some pushback, like public assaults on public faces of nazism and white supremacy like Richard Spencer and Jason Kessler, as well as the recent de-platforming of Alex Jones*, but the fact that in the last 4 years or so, these pieces of shit have been emboldened and are daring to show their faces in public is something that can not be dismissed or denied.

*which has already proven devastating to his business, as he's lost around half of is income due to bans on Facebook, Youtube and Twitter, which were the primary drivers of web traffic to his website.

The best response to fash-fucks like Jones, Molyneux, Petersen, etcetra isn't to politely engage them in debate to discuss the merits of white supremacy, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny and genocide, because:
1. that lends their sick filth a legitimacy it doesn't deserve, and it lets them pretend it has any equivalence to ideals like human rights and equality
2. they never argue in good faith, ever
3. in a civil society, sacks of shit like that should be terrified to leave their caves, and wouldn't dare show their faces in public.
Anyone who parrots their stupid rhetoric shouldn't be engaged with in good faith, they should be responded to with mockery, derision and outright hostility.
The only good nazi is a dead nazi.

OK. Let me qualify. It is an internet thing made up out of thin air and apparently adopted by this "alt right" sector of society. It would die a quiet death, regardless of the intentions of protagonists if fucking social media did not constantly feed it oxygen. Facebook and twitter are responsible for some serious cognitive decline coming our way now and it will only get worse. There are millions of people out there that get their knowledge direct from social media. It is not a case of filtering but of validity. We are truly fucked and we have the cunts in power we deserve. What a waste of time it is to attempt dialogue with people that are fueled by twitter rage and Facebook facts. There should be a clear demarcation for serves for the purposes of public service and those for private use/abuse.

FUCK social media.

No argument there. The fact it’s out there at all is largely down to dickheads on the right knowing they can rely on dickheads on the left to shriek about it.

I’d vote for this. Assuming there is a free trade deal for the jazz mag sector, that is.
