Although it doesn't feel like it especially matters. Not when this is the series of games when you normally get to test yourself against the top sides and get a real idea of where you stand. This is just to make some money, which is necessary but not exactly enticing

Yeah, I hate when we play Wales. Even when we beat them there's just a barrage of moaning about this, that or the other. At least Marler can't cause any trouble today.

I honestly think England could make a bit more use of Underhill as a carrier - we don’t see him do it very often, but when it happens it looks pretty powerful and explosive.

Underhill is decent enough carrier and maybe he is under-used, but I wouldn’t have used the word ‘explosive’. If it becomes a shoot out between Underhill and Willis, the latter is a much more effective carrier in traffic and probably faster/more elusive in wider channels. Underhill’s defence is his best chance of staying in the team, not more of his OK, but not notably brilliant carrying.

I’m describing him as explosive as on those rare (but frankly wonderful!) carries he’s made in tests his acceleration to his top speed appears very quick, coupled with a very strong natural build (as opposed to the gym bunny conditioned type) making him powerful, another component of explosivity. If Underhill brings more of this carrying to the party and I can honestly see him starting at 6 for the Lions in a Sean O’Brien style role with Tipuric starting at 7 - a combo that Ospreys used at one stage.

You think he’d be that size without the years of weight training he’s obviously done?
