I was in 2 minds about whether Trump should just be ignored once Biden takes over. But after this, I can't see any good reason not to prosecute him. Theres definitely enough counts of inciting a riot, a few manslaughter charges maybe and at a stretch something about rebellion/insurrection. Whatever, the principal that you accept an election result once any concerns have been robustly challenged must be defended.

The DC NG is under the president’s authority, I think the secretary of the Army has direct chain of command over them.
The DC major can (and did) ask for other states to send NG under some mutual assistance act. New York is sending some, for example. Cuomo is always talkative, so everyone knows real time. I heard Virginia already sent some as well yesterday.

It's blatant isn't it. For me it is the worst effect of this administration, the attack on civil rights and the nurturing of white grievance. Trump is basically a terrorist sympathiser. Now we have a radicalised highly motivated domestic threat to deal with in the immediate future. All perfectly predictable and avoidable.
