Shit. Poor guy. The sort of injury where even with a full recovery that might knock you.

Watching on terrestrial so couldn’t really see what happened.

Seems perverse that Italy got the scrum and then score in those circumstances.

That's grim.

Bizzarely, despite a 6:2 bench we're a forward short.

Poor tackle from Ford, well played Italy though.

We certainly look like a side that haven't practiced passing much in a long time. Somehow it keeps working despite several forward or grounded passes, so who cares I guess.

Robson was good there. Seems a ton calmer than last week, that's probably the situation as much as anything.

Sladed shouldn't get stepped for the try there and then Ford should make the tackle. Really sloppy.

Starting to see some swagger from Robson. He needed that tap penalty to give him the confidence it seems.

It was - but probably shouldn't be too critical about minds not being on the pitch after that injury

Robson has bounced back very well from his absolute shocker last week.
On the other hand, this is the sort of game in which Slade should shine but....

Fun passage of play.. Italy get on the outside too easily, poor pass. Slade's pass to May was awful but May's kick was a fantastic effort.

I was momentarily distracted, but did Genge just get stripped by the human turnstile that is Canna?

Not sure by whom but there was a few Italians in there. Genge has got to stop tucking it under one arm quite so much.

Hmm .. spending a lot of time in the 22 and not scoring. I guess we would normally kick the penalties but we aren't managing to break down Italy.

So good from Robson after the tap pen but that's criminal. You have to straighten before giving that pass to Ford. It's a three on three and he's just allowed his defender to drift onto Ford who also has less room because Robson has arced without straightening.

FT 41 - 18
Improved, but still error-strewn.

Horrible looking injury to Willis. Hope its not too bad and hes back soon.

Didnt progress after h/t. Some of our options were poor and some of the passing was terrible. At least we tried to keep the ball in hand and move it around. When you've hardly done that it might take a bit of time to get used to it.

6 out of 10 with a few players doing well.

Italy were dreadful, mind.

Oh and that ref was a homer if ever i saw one.

Still think we need to unearth an alternative no.8 to Billy sooner rather than later - not sure we have that in current squad

And we need another fullback. Daly is a great winger....

It's not just that we need a new No 8, we need a different type.

Let's leave that one til next season Tigers need Steward too much to spare him at the minute.

Watching on delay, just seen the Willis incident. Absolutely heartbroken for the lad, just as he was finally getting his chance after his previous injury.
