Seems like a decent choice, good actor, seems pretty cool.

Maybe a little short and young for the Doctor, but that combo didn't cause Matt Smith any problems.

Anyway, I just hope the scripts are better than the shit we've had for the last three years.

Agreed - seems talented and energetic enough, but the scripts are going to be the important thing. Jodie Whittaker could have been an excellent Doctor, but was hampered by some truly awful dross to work with (along with some truly awful acting alongside her).

Hope the new/old regime gets things back going again.

Yeah, and I'm not sure what to think about having RT Davies back. He loves the show, but is he really going to have many ideas left? He has to find some good new writers.
