Smith jumped out the line and left a huge hole! Got lucky there!

Tried to claim Smith hadn't got out the way, he'd done enough for me.

Watching Nowell today, and yet again, I morn that Baxter never tried 12. Slade 13. Nowell.
Give that a season to bed in, ideally 6ish years ago, and it would have been brilliant.

Put Simmonds at 7 whilst we're at it.

Agreed. Most breakdowns are a pen if that’s not quick enough to roll away.

Oh dear gods.

Aussie commentator "that's Mako Vunipola, he's some scrummager, one of the greats, plays for the Saracens club"

Well done England - Enjoyed watching this - some lovely work by Lawes (and teammates) at the breakdown!

A win is a win and at least we didn’t fold in the last 10 for the second week.
A lot of the newer lads showed up well- JVP, Chessum, Freeman. Isiekwe looked good too. Steward was outstanding both sides of the ball, Genge and Stuart went well, as did Billy and Courtney.
Our midfield and wide defence needs a rethink imo- easy yards even putting the try to one side.

Yeeeeha! Bosters of collisions. Feels like progress is being made.

Loved Willis' first dominant carry, great to see him back.
