Poor sod. He was such a great player for Leicester and deserved England caps - desperately unlucky to be injured every time one was imminent.
Treatments for MND are coming along every year though and hopefully he's getting the very best medical care.

As someone has that lost a brother-in-law, and my niece/nephew their Dad, to MND I can't imagine how Ed and his family are feeling. A truly horrible illness that I'd wish on no-one. Hopefully they have a strong support network to help them as it get tough.

Horrible news. Always came across as a top bloke and was someone that but for bad luck with injuries would have got caps for England. Dreadful to hear in one so young (younger than me).
