Not sure if this should go here or the kits thread, as these two are both horrendous. I had not realised how awful that green stripe would be.

Just watched the first half hour or so. Anyanwu looks in good touch - is it assumed that he'll be your starting 12 while Esterhuizen's away with South Africa?

I’d say so yeah. Crowbarring Marchant/Northmore together at centre never seemed to click. He’s got a way to go obviously but he looks a real athlete and seems to get himself heavily involved. I really like that second part as we seem to have had quite a few skillful centres recently that are a bit passive?

Northmore really tailed off at the end of last season. I think he and Marchant are both very much 13s, and Marchant is clearly the better player of the two.

What's happening with Hyde at 12? In the Irish under 20s squad he and Kelly were a pretty good centre combination with Kelly playing 13 and Hyde looking box office at 12. Was he just physical at age grade level and is struggling to make the step up?
