Agreed. I think we are heading for Ford/Farrell at 10/12, a badly mistaken compromise, IMO. Might there be a chance of Ford/Kelly in the post-6N future? It's our only hope.Scrumhead wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 8:41 am 100% agree with you. For the game plan we’re seeing Ford is the best man. While I don’t think anyone will knock Farrell out of the XV (sadly), Ford is also best placed to do it given he was Borthwick’s 10 for his biggest career success so far. He has Borthwick’s trust so if anyone is capable of it, he is.
Hopefully that opens up a spot for Smith to be the ‘game changer’ on the bench.

I wouldn’t wish injury on anyone but honestly, it’s the only way I see us starting without Farrell.

Everyone I’ve read thinks/knows/has heard that Ford-Farrell-Lawrence is Stevie Borresteros’s preferred midfield.Oakboy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 8:54 amAgreed. The only way Ford should have a sniff of starting next week is if he was playing today.
If he does get the 10 shirt v France then it sends a shit message to Smith
