Bristol vs Quins, Sunday, rd20
Bristol Side:
15. Charles Piutau (74 apps), 14. Siva Naulago (22 apps), 13. Semi Radradra (49 apps), 12. James Williams (10 apps), 11. Gabriel Ibitoye (12 apps); 10. AJ MacGinty (19 apps), 9. Harry Randall (co-capt) (96 apps); 1. Yann Thomas (105 apps), 2. Harry Thacker (95 apps), 3. Max Lahiff (62 apps), 4. Joe Batley (36 apps), 5. Chris Vui (112 apps), 6. Steven Luatua (co-capt) (108 apps), 7. Fitz Harding (46 apps), 8. Magnus Bradbury (17 apps).
Subs: 16. Bryan Byrne (42 apps), 17. Jake Woolmore (127 apps), 18. George Kloska (22 apps), 19. Joe Joyce (162 apps), 20. Jake Heenan (88 apps), 21. Andy Uren (153 apps), 22. Sam Bedlow (59 apps), 23. Ioan Lloyd (73 apps).
Only one change for Bristol, Jeff Reece not recovering from his stinger last week, so the side is starting to look settled and show some cohesion at last.
A lot will depend on the Bristol front, which has been better recently, maintaining parity with Quins. I can't imagine we'll go as well as last week so should think it will be a lot closer.

Quins still insisting on numbering their flankers the wrong way round.
Is Marchant injured?

I don’t know why this is a thing we do. I guess we want Kenningham to settle as a 6 but it just doesn’t make sense to ask Chisholm to play 7, particularly with two pure opensides on the bench.
We did a similar thing ages back when Lancaster wanted Robshaw at 7, so just made Wallace wear 6 and they packed down as normal.
No idea about Marchant. Travelling reserve?

I would assume Marchant is a travelling reserve for England.
Should be a good game. Even with international absentees, both are good sides set up to play positive rugby. COYQ.

Pity this isnt the televised game on Sunday.
2 sides coming off big impressive wins last week could make for a very lively game.
Bristol with a very settled look right now which is bearing fruit. Riley starts and Collier on bench for Quins.

Smith got all the headlines, but having Lewies, Kenningham and Chisholm back made a huge difference last weekend.
We’ve been playing a lot of the season with a weakened back five of our scrum and it’s really cost us. I fancy this one to be close but a high scoring. I will happily pay PRTV for this one.

Particularly given how the last few of these fixtures have gone.

Half time Bris 31 - 12 Quin's.
Hopefully no second half collapse this time.

FT Bris 51 - 26 Quin's.
An interception putting some lipstick on it for Quin's. Bristol lost some structure & momentum when Uren had to replace Harding. Happy with that! Followed on twitter so more comment when I've actually seen it.

That's a hiding for Quins, ouch. I think this makes the Sarries top 4 guaranteed doesn't it?

They are two superb players so no surprise that that makes such a difference.fivepointer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 8:32 am Highlights here - https://www.bt.com/sport/watch/video/cl ... harlequins
