OK - I thought he’d played there a bit more than once for Bath, but actually that just reinforces my original point that he’s a 13 not really a 12.

Next you'll be saying Watson should be considered at full back.

More Reddit theft here, but seemed sort of interesting.

Not sure how up to date or accurate it is. I thought JJ was 100% off for instance?

Exeter’s need to have 5 more props than anyone else seems weird. And Sarries now have 4 international looseheads?!

You know what? That Quins squad is one of the best we’ve had for years. We finally have a little depth at lock, it’s looking good.

Watch us crash and burn now

Finally had a chance to look at this properly.
Good to see the academy graduates this year: Stewart, Richards, Merigan, Carr-Smith, Worboys and Goss.

Given Obano's atrocious luck with injuries is another loosehead on the way in or does one of the tightheads cover both sides?

Du Toit covers both sides for SA.
Equally, Stanley is probably ready to sit on the bench at senior level a few times this year, if needed.

Also worth noting that this is the official squad for the year now; and JJ's salary* has just been removed from next year's cap; so presumably we're holding that in hand to go shopping if necessary or if someone interesting comes on the market post RWC.

*Signed on an inflated salary as part of a dick-measuring contest by Ed Griffiths who'd seen the class but not the form - so should be able to afford a decent player or 2-3 lesser lights.
