Quite a few red zone pens, including an off the ball shot. He's been generous giving a warning.

Surely a scrum would be the option here?

In fairness, we had no other defenders around, so it was definitely killing a break. I'm always in favour of a ref punishing something cynical first time as well.

We had every defender behind the ball and the ball was just outside the 22. For Plumtree we had a line break around the halfway line.
The JVP injury was also a blatant shot off the ball. Adams knew and had his hands begging innocence straight after he did it.

Jamie George is our most precious player right now. We could lose anyone else to injury and there'd be someone else we could bring in, but lose George and it's all over.

On the injury note, I feel so sorry for JVP, but he was having another poor game and I'm way more confident with Youngs on. I still can't help but feel that he's been promoted too early and he'll be a better player in a couple of years' time. Unlike a notable poster's hobby horse, I don't think Mitchell or Quirke are The Answer for England yet - both still works in progress with their own significant flaws.

So far I’m more disappointed than last week. This team should be pumping a rookie team of Welshies.

Kick and crap still seems to be the ‘tactic’.

Well, we're in the lead I guess. Otherwise, I turned on at 15 mins-ish and I kept losing focus. It's not been particularly interesting. On the positive side, we did stop two mauls in our 22 so that's something.

Rugby seems to be breaking out and then Farrell panics and goes to the boot.

He's a walking irony. I want him to provide variety but he can't. His little breaks that get the commentators salivating are embarrassing because he lacks the pace to exploit gaps.

Idris Elba’s companion looks like she’s as keen at being dragged to Twickenham as I would be taken to Ikea :)

Farrell has all the explosive acceleration of a Morris minor doing a hill start in 3rd gear.

Thing is, all out scrum halves have significant flaws, so I'm in favour of picking one of the ones who may be able to learn and improve, rather than keeping on going back to the guy who has shown over his last 70 odd caps that he absolutely no ability to do so.

I’ve taken an instant dislike to Plumtree… other than the numerous times he’s knocked it on

So desperate not to give away our attacking shapes we're chucking the ball on the floor.
