Suspect good team mate shitshow oppo. Met him twice - once v young and absolutely appalling on the park, other time a couple of years back when very unpleasant off the park.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Sat Jul 12, 2025 11:34 amHenry Arundell agrees with you. I have no experience to comment from, I've heard good and bad, but mostly good from his colleagues

Re: Fazlet
I find that VERY easy to believe.
Mildly amusing that he retired from internationals because he was being boo.d (and I assume worse on antisocial media). Returns to international rugby, and is immediately boo.d

I feel like that is the issue now - people feel like they have to praise him to be seen to have a “sensible opinion”.
I’m pretty sure it’s a psyop at this point - based on the headlines on his performance today you’d think he was prime Dan Carter (cough… https://www.skysports.com/amp/rugby-uni ... -test-spot).
In reality he made an average grubber which was made good with terrible defending and one regulation pass. People who actually watch the game (like those on this forum) can see it with their own eyes and it’s infuriating.

Exactly, that article shows why he, and the hype around him, has become tedious.SixAndAHalf wrote: ↑Sat Jul 12, 2025 7:06 pmI feel like that is the issue now - people feel like they have to praise him to be seen to have a “sensible opinion”.

The media hype him up for access. ROG glazing him before the game on Saturday a case in point, he's a killer - as the opposition you know he can destroy you on his own. Literally never once has he won an international game even close to songle-handedly, but he's contributed to so many losses.SixAndAHalf wrote: ↑Sat Jul 12, 2025 7:06 pmI feel like that is the issue now - people feel like they have to praise him to be seen to have a “sensible opinion”.

Re: Fazlet
Faz appeared in the second half when the game was well and truly won, had an armchair ride at 12 and touched the ball about five times - so Planet Rugby reports that he "guided the Lions to victory." it would be a sad joke if it were not so fekkking depressing to read this kind of blinkered bilge.
The Lions continue with big wins against poor teams, but don't be too surprised if their backs get skinned by their fast Oz counterparts.
