Glous v Castres
Seb Blake having another game that takes him further from any possible international recognition. His darts are all over the place!

Dunno's who's fault, but the lineout (and the rest of Glos' discipline) and been pretty awful.
The one time they did win a 5m lineout, they were so shocked, they forgot to maul

Glos 34 - 14 Cas
FT
CAtkinson with a vpnrace off the bench to make things look better than they were.
Glos need to find a lineout from somewhere - if only they had someone who specialised in the lineout in their coaching crew... Oh well...
Blake and SAtkinson doing themselves no favours whatsoever if Silly Bugger had anyone at the ground.

I really like Charlie Atkinson. Feel like he needs some love and to have a coach who really backs him at 10. Got all the talent in the world but Skivington would rather pick Ross Byrne or Anscombe.
Not sure what his contract status is but Newcastle need a 10.

Depends who Newcastle get in as head coach. If Scotland have a crap 6N and Townsend ends up vacating that spot to head slightly south then that would be ideal for Charlie Atkinson. Toonie was able to develop Finn Russell another flyhalf with attacking flair but limited game management skills. Not sure Atkinson is on Russell levels but he certainly has untapped potential. Atkinson would be insane to go to Newcastle if Dickens remains head coach, mind you with Stephen Jones in as the new attack coach that might help.Captainhaircut wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 5:25 pm I really like Charlie Atkinson.
