Too bad, I think most of NZ rugby fandom had high hopes, but he did seem a little out of his depth maybe? Who does that leave us with?

Has officially ruled himself out of the running. The NZRFU have said their coach will need to be a) Kiwi and b) have previously coached in the international arena. Cotter has gone to Queensland Reds, Wayne Smith is leaving for "a senior coaching leadership role at a professional club," so that leaves either Joseph or Rennie? Unless they want to go really left-field and do something like go back to Foster?
