Not as fluent as last week.

Struggled to get over the gain line at times with some good first up Leinster defence. Whereas our D was a little loose first half with a couple of first up tackles missed.

But Tommy S is on fire at th moment! Cracking day to watch rugby and 10 points from 10 is a decent start when we've played the two finalists from last year.

Not as good as last week but Glasgow eventually woke up in the second half.

Seymour, Pyrgos and Favaro were superb.

Hogg becoming a little less selfish which is nice to see.

Thought Glasgow should have had a scrum towards the end after the move involving Hogg and Seymour on the left wing resulted in Dunbar over the line and bundled out. Two touches from Leinster hands... one was backwards the second was in the other direction... Should have gone back to the advantage

Next game will be Cardiff away - tough one... they're on good form as well.

First 50/55: Awful defence and poor reads mixed with the odd good spell.

Final 30/25: Tightened up with or without the ball and put the pressure back on Leinster.


Good game for set piece, nice to have a bit of a nudge come scrum time with either front row.

Flashbacks to a couple of years ago, Pyrgos had a poor game. Too many loopy passes, too much pissing about at the base when a move was on, advantage being wasted or going alone when two passes should have seen a score. Horne didn't have a great game running things from FH, though the whole backline seemed a bit off even discounting control from 10. Moves being read by their defence time after time. Johnson seemed to be taking a lot of the short ball work into defence you'd have to think Dunbar would be better suited to.

While not Hoggs finest game, that back 3 combo looked lethal throughout.

The scrum cap or you not liking it?

I think (though I could be wrong) that studies say a Scrum cap won't reduce concussion but I can understand why Russel might want it if he also broke a bone in his face.

Incidentally I think one of the downsides is meant to be that they make you more reckless but not sure that applies to Russell as he is already fairly reckless with his body

It'll do chuff all for concussion, doubt it'll provide Mich protection for a bone but who knows. Suspect it's mostly psychological.... Or his missus is making him wear it.
