Edinburgh got 38K for their home 1/4 final so I reckon Glasgow could pick between Celtic park, Hampden, Rangers, Rugby Park or Murrayfield

If it does happen and its a big fecking if, then I think it would have to be Celtic or Rangers, no reason why Glasgow couldn't get 35K for the game, as it will be against Munster and I think a wider pitch would help more. Glasgow should host the semi final if Glasgow make it, playing at Kilmarnock or Edinburgh would be stupid, especially since Munster would come over in their droves for the game so it would be a great occasion

But its a big fucking if
That all makes sense although suppose it would depend on the logistics/availability of Ibrox/Parkhead

Parkhead was the rumoured destination for a Glasgow league final a few years back, Ibrox is too small and falling to bits, Hampden might be busy that weekend.

Of course this only becomes relevant for us if the miraculous happens and Glasgow can roll Sarries away. Their defence is brutal, kicking game smart, and forward play is a step up on what Glasgow have faced so far. Good chance they have the Vunipoli back by then, and while there's no better experience than actually playing a side you can bet Maitland and Taylor will tell all they know from the 6ns.

Im not convinced that the sarries forwards would be a step up than Munster in the game 2 weeks ago, both teams were brutal, Glasgow would need to play at their peak to stand a chance but will have to see how the teams look after the 6N

We'll know soon enough. Yeah, I'm worried about what injuries may be picked up in the next two months. There's players coming back to add depth and it's a fairly strong squad but it has to be the 1st XV to stand a chance.

It's not the worst pick of the bunch but will be harder for travelling support now. Hopefully quite a few expats will make it along to bulk up the weegie numbers.

1300 kickoffs can seem a wee bit flat but wont make too much difference

When do tickets go on sale on the Glasgow/SRU ticket site? If at all?

Looking to pick up a few as I'm based down south anyway.

It appears Glasgow have announced Huw Jones as a signing. I say appears as it is a video with commentary on Jones then 2017/18 and a warriors badge.

Great signing but hope Bennett finds a big club that will start him and pay him a boatload. He certainly deserves it.

I am not sure there are many clubs with vacancies at 13 that would fulfil that criteria or willing to spend a wedge on upgrading tbh. In the Pro 12 the Irish clubs have rules about NIQ players, the top few clubs in England are ok at 13 or a basket case in at least one regard (Tigers and Saints). Exeter maybe? Are Quins a top club any more?

Given there has been no recent speculation on a move to France I wonder if he doesn't fancy France again?

That's pretty disappointing. He'll be a good signing for someone. I hope he doesn't end up in the PRO12.

Hardie moving along the M8?

Same report had Callum Gibbins coming up from the Canes, article from years back has Rennie calling him into the Turbos side.

Is he an openside? Can't recall anyone but mini Savea playing 7 for the 'Canes. That being said I didn't watch a massive amount of SR last year.

Oh and I guess Johnson and Griggs signing pretty much confirms Bennett is leaving.

Hard to think of another player more uncomfortable to play against.. He does suffer damage regularly though..?
