You do realise (you obviously don't), that you have to go quite a bit higher than a commercial airline to see the curvature of the earth?

35,000 feet is high enough, you can see a long way at that height, curvature of the earth is 8 inches per mile squared, you should see some curvature at least, not only that, why is the horizon still at eye level at 35,000 feet, it should be dipping down away from you at that height if the earth really is a ball.
