I liked that he called Jackson very unique, it's not perhaps much in the bigger picture of saying a slave owner would have against a civil war based partly on slavery, but it just seems so Trumpish. 'Tis quite possible Donald wouldn't understand why he shouldn't say very unique, and also possible he'd conclude he himself was extremely unique

Seems that he's becoming an appeaser with a big stick. Not sure what Roosevelt would make of his maladaptation.

Loved this Tweet from the great man:

It has cost the U.S tax payer a ridiculous amount of money to fund his weekly golfing jaunts to Mar-a-Lago, plus protect his wife whilst she stays in NY. The criticism has been widespread, especially considering Trump was very vocal about Obama playing golf occasionally. Trump even went to the length of saying he would not have time to play golf if he was elected, but he has played pretty much every weekend.

Oh, and his home in Bedminster, NJ is the Trump national golf club.

Such self-awareness.

Russia just won't go away for Trump. For 'fake news', it's pretty persistent:

Leave The Donald alone.
It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.

The groundwork for impeachment has now been laid. This will be what gets him.

It's an issue because Comey was heading up an investigative committee into alleged links between the Trump campaign and/or GOP and Russia. Maybe he should've done it on day 1, maybe not. It's pretty fucking irrelevant, because the timing of it makes it look dodgy as all fuck, and makes Trumpy look like a corrupt despot desperately trying to derail an investigation into allegations of impropriety on his part.
Point of order, but he already looked like a corrupt despot.
He'll, he's pretty much the dictionary definition for corruption!

Love how Trump praises Comey's work in one breath, then say he's not able to effectively lead the Bureau.

Tiny hands wanted the world to know that on three separate occasions Comey told him he wasn't under investigation. Why on earth would he put that in a dismissal letter that is then released to the press?

Especially when this also happened:

For added irony, Trump insists that the reason for Comey's dismissal is due to the release of misinformation regarding the forwarding/backing up of Clinton emails.

How about the almost daily misinformation the POTUS spreads on Twitter?

Is the only difference that Comey's mistake was under oath?

Didn't Trump take an oath too? Does that not apply to his early morning rants/ramblings on social media?

Trump usually only hires people who agree with him.

It is a measure of his standing in Washington that to find people who do agree with him, that he can therefore employ, he has had to hire his daughter and son in law.

There's no doubt that if the KGB, or whatever they call themselves these days, are actively trying to demonstrate just how flaccid and impotent Western Democracy is,......they are doing a blydi good job of it.

It'd help Trump if a few more of them thought Trump was a Republican

No need for impeachment, America just needs another celebrity to stand against Trump.

#CaitlynJenner for POTUS*.

* - I know the article makes no mention of her running for president, but it would be awesome.
