The Welsh are not a race. They are more of a peculiarly 'genetically concentrated' breed within an otherwise diverse Celtic genus.

All the same, I'd agree with you that it is unfair to deny them air passage, for if you did how else would Katherine Jenkins get to the NSE shows for our brave boys in the Arabian Gulf.
Blydi hell, that Jenkins comment just brought back a very nice memory from Basra!!!

May I just ask why did you join the forces? For adventure, or because you believed you were protecting your country?

What the feck has that got to do with overbooking on flights?
Unless you think the Army should be used to get unwanted passengers of said overbooked flight
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent

Fecking airlines. Can't stand the feckers these days, especially in North America (well maybe only in north america). Record profits, customers treated like cattle, nickle and diming over food/drinks/snacks/luggage, impossible to talk to someone on the phone, all served up with a menacing undertone of "respect my authoritiiii".

Its not much better over here. I hate flying, or at least the process of flying from A to B given the security checks conducted by some utter goon on minimum wage on a power trip followed by the treat like cattle treatment, unless I re-mortgage my house and gain access to a private lounge with some stale pastries.

Airlines in America are crap, hostess service way past its sell by date, airlines used to have a policy of letting go a hostess once they reached a certain age, until they were taken to court by one sour ex employee, now they can stay as long as they like. I remember one Delta flight I took, all the hostess's looked over 40, sour faced, fed up of the job, fed up with passengers, waiting for a pension, it was horrible. Do the job with a smile or fuck off I say.

Those guys who dragged that bloke off that United Airlines flight should be arrested and charged with assault, thats pure thuggery, to pull someone off a flight who doesn't want to leave. I'll never fly United again unless its an unavoidable emergency, way out of order.

US airline Delta is facing a public-relations problem after a family claimed they were kicked off a flight for refusing to give up a child's seat.

"This is a federal offence and then you and your wife will be in jail and your kids will be in foster care," a crew member can be heard telling the family.
