Good man, saves me having to figure it out. Trying to figure out if Sagan is still worth it with 9 sprint stages where he's likely to place but not win. Anyone spotted any cheap gems worth 4 or 6?

I'm sure he isn't too bothered either way, but I wonder if the public's perception of him will finally start to improve? Not many have achieved what he has managed to do in recent years, but he seems to fly under the radar in terms of public appreciation compared to other sports stars. Cycling's reputation and repeated scandals haven't helped, but I honestly think he's clean and he seems like such a top bloke too.

Popped to Cardiff today to watch the end of the Tour of Britain. Boasson Hagen won the stage and came second overall behind Lars Boom. G bagged top British rider and finished 7th overall, 24 seconds from top spot.

Shame Cav didn't finish, but it was a decent field on the whole.

Great turnout along the roads and at the finish.

Worlds is on today and the course looks so much more fun than last years pan flat effort. With 150km to go anyone want to hazard a prediction? I'm going for alaphillipe to sneak away before the last climb and stay away.

Awesome stage in the giro today riding up mount etna. An old fashioned 1-2 for Mitchelton-Scott with Yates effectively gifting the win to Chaves. Yates is in pink now and looked so much stronger than everyone else today but it's going to be a massive ask to hold it with that flat TT to come. He needs to take a lot of time on the mountain stages and I worry that he's peaked a bit too early in the race.

So Yates wins the Vuelta. Looked by far the strongest over the three weeks, though the field wasn't the strongest. Can't wait to see how he goes at the world championships.

It also means that Brits have won the last 5 consecutive GTs.

And first ever nation to hold old three grand tours via three different riders.
It’s a real success story.

Froome is in a bad way - hope he pulls through ok.

Brailsford: "He's not in great shape. There are crashes and bad crashes and this was a bad crash."

On the mend. ;)

Robbed of a potentially thrilling finale to today's stage.

Bernal was looking good and Thomas looked strong too. There will be some discussion to be had tonight at team Ineos!!

After the severity that the female Dr. Involved in the quins blood gate saga suffered, I assume Dr. Freeman will be struck off. I'm not holding my breathe.

Am loving having the cycling in the background whilst working from home. Yesterday's stage was great fun.

Fun to see Yates in yellow, though suspect he won't keep it through the weekend. Reward for bring aggressive on stage two. Kuss to win a GT in a couple of years time.

Quite enjoyed today's stage. Pity Landa wasn't rewarded for attacking but at least he gave it a go. Amazing that wout van aert is 20th on GT. He's destroyed this race.

Kuss has been amazing too. If he ever rides for GC it will be fun due to his inability to time trial.

Hard day for Yates, but don't think that he thought that he'd be here at the start of the tour so think he can be pretty happy.

Simon Yates has tested positive for COVID and so is out of the Giro. Interesting to see how the race organisers play this. Currently looks like his team are planning to start today, having all tested negative.

Also explains his lack of form, having dominated in the warm up races. A shame as this was a great chance for a second grand tour.

I'd be astonished if any of the top teams were trying to race clean rather than race to win. I know a lot of them say they're clean, but it seems as likely as Marion Jones saying the same thing a few years back.
