Indeed. Not a perfect game but a massive performance all the same.Wallpaperman wrote:Blimey, bit of a scrap but we’ll take it

Forward effort was pretty good all round, happy with that. Very stilted behind, but nice to see Liam Williams up for it againSandydragon wrote:Two weeks to prepare which will be a help.normanski wrote:We have to build on this momentum. Twickenham next.
We still looked blunt in attack but the physicality was there today and the rolling maul worked well. Scrum too
Lots of positives but still a lot to work on. Will Rowlands is starting to look like a real warrior. His pairing with Beard starting to deliver results.Sandydragon wrote:Two weeks to prepare which will be a help.normanski wrote:We have to build on this momentum. Twickenham next.

Moriarty looked better after Fagerson went off, I thought. Basham lucky to not get a card at the end but is a real force of naturenormanski wrote:Lots of positives but still a lot to work on. Not certain if Moriarty is fully fit yet but Basham and Morgan starting to look the part.
I need a few drinks to bring my blood pressure down.

We need to pray that France don’t travel well. But that thought is for another day.Son of Mathonwy wrote:Yeah, well those guys seem to know what to do when they have the ball.Sandydragon wrote:Meanwhile in Paris……..

England v France is on the last weekend. I bet France will be up for it if the slam is in the table. Alternatively we will have beaten them the week before and they will take out their frustration on England (I’m an optimist).Buggaluggs wrote:France have us in Cardiff, Eng at HQ.? French pack and replacements look very good. A narrow win at twickers will set us nicely!!!Sandydragon wrote:England v France is on the last weekend. France started incredibly well but they aren’t the perfect side. That soft first Irish try and some of the harum scarum stuff suggests that they can have issues focusing for the full 80. But you need to be be very sharp to exploit that and I don’t think we are sharp enough, although we have a couple of weeks to work on that.normanski wrote:French pack and replacements look very good.
