Andrew Sheridan I assume? When did you play against him Mells?
Yep. At school when he played no8 and I played a scared no10.

I feel like this question is all this bizarre conversation was really about.

Not really. Posted it as there was the convo about Botia initially being named at flanker before that being changed to centre, and this is the reason why. It also reminded me of being walked all over by one freak at school boy level, let alone having to worry about two.
Happening to be in the same age group at school as an ex-pro over 20 years ago isn’t really something to brag about. At least, I don’t think it is. The real reason for posting was obviously to get into two pathetic arguments.

Have I ever told the board about that time I had to mark Simon Danielli at Roslyn Park Sevens and he made me look like a 35 year old Andy Farrell?

I can't ever think about Andrew Sheridan without thinking about two people: 1. Beefeater (where did he go?); 2. Julian White (what a punch!). Now, I have to add a third - MB.

In other idle thoughts, why do England not hand out caps for these games? Other countries do or at least have done for games against the Baabaas in the past, so there's nothing to stop them within World Rugby's rules I imagine. I'm not saying they should as it's obviously not a proper international, but if they did then the likes of Haley, Sheedy, Tompkins and Williams would all be tied to England rather than pulling on the shirts of rival countries (although it's a chicken/egg situation for some I suspect - Sheedy I imagine was happy to play for England against the Baabaas as he knew it didn't tie him down but might have rejected the offer of a full cap).

A GREAT skill set? Really? I mean he's a good club player, but that's about it. Nonu had an average skill set early on in his career but then worked like an absolute beast on his all round game and ended up with a great skill set in the main.

Dingwall would be an obvious choice here. He can play 12 or 13, is in tip top form and continues to improve as a player.

Playing Atkinson gives me hope that my chances of a cap aren't over yet, and I'm 46 and shit.

Atkinson with a knock on and forward pass in 12 minutes, and a rather suspicious high shot from Skelton on Curry totally ignored!

We’re using TMO for two different knock ons but not a blatant headshot. Ok then!

Yellow card and penalty try even though Penaud has overrun it.

Very true though the baabaas all drive round and off their feet. Cute if you get away with it, which they did.

Baabaas TH has hinged in both the last two scrums and nothing. Rodd has been pinged twice. He might feel hard done by.

Then again the third and only a free kick.

Hey Ho.
