These half backs make me so depressed.
Also, no Cousins? really need his bulk in the backline.

There's another stellar pack in the year below too. These three years of lads coming through (current U20s and U18s) are a proper golden generation. But then the U17s are good too, and the U16s. We've finally sorted our shit out again and aligned schools with pathways. There's still work to improve, but the conveyor belt is in motion!Captainhaircut wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 7:59 pm This pack. Just manhandled the saffas in their own back yard on that pitch. I know it’s hard to to judge how players will kick on but it wouldn’t y be a surprise to see that entire pack plus a few of the subs get full test caps.
Hope Sela is ok.
with Conor OShea being very vested in pathway from u20's v positiveEpaminondas Pules wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 8:07 pmThere's another stellar pack in the year below too. Definitely a decent part of the puzzle. Today being a prime example of technique over size. Our props coming through have the best technique and body position I’ve ever seen from our age grade sides.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 9:14 pm Presumably helped by the scrum classes the RFU have been arranging

The conditions rendered it nothing more than an attritional affair, with a Ref that was, unfortunately, pretty standard for this level (i.e. shite) but our front up, defence and the pack as a whole were superb.
It is scrappy as shit as a game. Conditions were horrific underfoot, windy as hell and the second half is pissed it down. It was stop start to another level of stop start. The Ref was very finicky and also blind, and just very frustrating.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 9:36 am Is it worth watching?
I'm feeling rugby.d out after the last 12 months (gods alone know how the players are feeling), so watched Wimbledon instead.
Just realised Lucas Friday is still 17, turns 18 on Saturday. The only 2006 born lad in the England squad and presumably one of the youngest players at the tournament.
Yeah couple of injuries have given him the chance. And he is very highly thought of. As are Hall and Bracken who have also leapfrogged older players. As would have Ollie Davies but for injury.Slater582 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2024 10:19 pmJust realised Lucas Friday is still 17, turns 18 on Saturday. Assume he was only selected because McParland got injured but still if he's getting picked two years early they must really rate him.
Such a shame. The pitch for the RSA game was utter shite. At least the Semis are being played at the DHL stadium and not Athlone!
