Fuck off. I'd rather not have my retirement money raped by some coked-up hedge fund manager on a jolly, thanks. For a recent example, see Peter Thiel in NZ.
I've built a life here. Have a house, partner, career etc. My career would die on the spot in NZ, and the government down there are total fuckwits also.

Re: Trump
What are the odds of a bomb going off somewhere in the US at some point soon and all the 'evidence' pointing towards someone who entered the country from one of the ban list countries during the time the restrictions have been lifted?
If something like that happened, it would certainly add more weight to Trump's ban.

Very slim, I think. Because the major perpetrators of terrorism are not on the list. In saying that, I just can't help but think Trump may go the same way as JFK if he carries on making enemies like this.WaspInWales wrote:What are the odds of a bomb going off somewhere in the US at some point soon and all the 'evidence' pointing towards someone who entered the country from one of the ban list countries during the time the restrictions have been lifted?

He does seem to think he can now act as King or Emperor Trump. If he's already blaming the judiciary for upholding the law I wonder how he'll get on with Congress when they will not finance some of his plans, they'll likely be behind his tax cuts, but not his infrastructure plans. Though his infrastructure plans might be just a lie to help get elected.canta_brian wrote:

I don't think WiW was suggesting that any such bomb would actually have been planted by someone from a banned-list country; just that looks the conveniently located and legible evidence would point that wayrowan wrote:Very slim, I think. I see. Well, that wouldn't be anything new, of course. They usually just blame mass killings on 'ISIS' these days, which most Americans broadly cognize as 'Islamic extremism' - without giving any thought at all to which countries might have been involved. So, yes, the odds in that case would be pretty high.Which Tyler wrote:I don't think WiW was suggesting that any such bomb would actually have been planted by someone from a banned-list country; just that looks the conveniently located and legible evidence would point that wayrowan wrote:Very slim, I think. & you completely missed the point there, Captain Hypocrite, because I was very clearly referring to ISIS, not the list of banned countries.
Obviously I don't presume to speak for all Americans. That's just the perception I get from the many Americans I know and from their own American news.
So who's being condescending here?

Re: Trump
Well, 9/11 notwithstanding, terrorist attacks by foreign Muslims on American soil are extremely rare. If there were one, it would be blamed on ISIS, regardless the nationality of the perpetrator. My guess is, the media would pay little attention to their nationality and far more to their religion, which in turn would heavily influence the general perception of the incident among the public. I'm not sure how much Trump and his team would manipulate such an event to pursue an agenda, as he certainly seems more of the bull in a China shop variety of president than the treachorous snake in the grass type that his predecessor surely was.

Which is exactly the narrartive that is being had over here by actual people that aren't on You Tube. There is so much redundancy in your tediously repetitive narrative. We get it, the media has fucked the dog for a long time, multiple administrations have pushed military action that has unnecessarily cost lives. Fuck me, we get it. What you are maybe missing is the fact that Team Trumpet has made a point on waging war on the media, but their alternative is being dictated to them by big tech...Facebook, Google, etc. He is thick enough to give them the keys to deep, deep levels of intelligence if it allows him to control the narrative (shit.....maybe you two are related!). This is why the cunt pushes Twatter so aggressively.

People pouring in. Bad! Surely that's a subliminal message to some of the pond life to have a pop at an immigrant? And blame the judge because el presidente did something unconstitutional! What a clown.
