Cheika and Dan MacFarland are also on the list but the favourite is believed to be Dan McKellar, currently assistant coach with Oz.
Cotter also allegedly on said list. Ulster fans seem certain that MacFarland has had an interview with Tigers so that would hold true.

McKellar would make sense, he was a coach on the up at the Brumbies and joined Rennie at Australia as an assistant but was mooted as the eventual successor. Eddie coming in has pretty much dumped on that plan. Eddie did some consultancy work at Tigers after Borthwick joined initially so may have tipped him off if McKellar has discussed wanted to be the main man again.

It’s scandalous that Erasmus is on the list at all!
The shortlist has certainly lost some of its miss teeq now that the names have been revealed

I can't see Rassie being appointed. Pinchen isn't stupid and Tigers are a business, can't risk alienating sponsors with his antics.

Please, no. It was hard enough loving Leicester during the brief Matt O'Connor tenure; I don't want to have to put up with that whiny dickhole at my club.

I shudder everytime I read or hear the name Matt O'Connor the useless fat Aussie tit. Rassie would probably be worse, I can't imagine him being popular with more than a small minority of fans. He can't be cheap either. We can do better surely.

Radradra confirmed as joining Lyon next season. Have to say that's a big disappointment - when fit he has been huge for Bris.

Your squad does need a rebalancing though. When your first XV is fit, you're fearsome, but locking so much of the budget up in so few players has not paid off for you with the injury luck you've had.

Leicester raise £13m from selling shares: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/64651268

Sounds impressive, but the shares are being bought by Tom Scott and Peter Tom, who are both on the board and part of the furniture, so it's basically rich people putting some extra money into their hobby.

Oh no, absolutely not. Very grateful for our rich people putting extra money into their hobby! Want to make sure we don't get into any kind of debt spiral.

Jake Polledri to Bayonne or Brive.

I see that Italy have also just announced that he needs a shoulder op for a rotator cuff injury sustained v England. He is so unlucky.

Ouch. Don't blame him for the move, grab the biggest contract you can as he probably won't be able to carry on for much longer. All these injuries will be taking their toll.

Interesting, he's been playing 12 for the Ospreys but came through as a flyhalfs initially. So is he the replacement for Simmonds or are Chiefs giving up on Devoto ever being fit?

Adds credence to the rumours Wales are about to ditch the 60 cap rule as well. Hawkins looks likely to be a fixture for them for the next decade.

Dan McKellar is apparently the new Tigers head coach.

I'll take that (thank gods it's not Erasmus). Rumour appears divided on whether he will be going to the RWC or becoming another coach to lolnope out of the Eddie Jones regimen. I'm hoping the rumours saying he'll be joining us in July for the start of pre-season are correct - it'll lose us another season if he only turns up in November.

He does have experience coaching remotely weirdly enough. Having done so for the AIs working with Australia.

I think he has the potential to be a great addition for us if we get the right assistants for him. We need a good defence and attack coach.

HC - McKellar
Assistant forwards - Deacon
Scrum - Harrison
Assistant backs - Smith
Attack - ?
Defence - ?

I don't know if Everard will get a go at either as he coached both attack and defence at Wasps. Some outside experience in a young coaching set up would be good though.

Laurie Fisher's at a loose end, having been canned by Eddie. Wouldn't mind McKellar bringing him across.

He's an experienced head and knows McKellar well but he didn't have a great time at Glaws a few years back. Could do a job in defence maybe.

Confirmed by Leicester as starting 1st July and not going to the RWC. Great news and one in the eye for Eddie, who apparently wanted him to stay.

Very much so.

Be good to have him in for pre season. He might even visit the club before the end of the season as he's left ARU effective immediately and will no doubt be house hunting, looking at schools etc.

Couple more additions, few contracts to sort out and then it's backroom staff and Tigers are pretty much ready for next season.
