Don’t feel either Taylor or Maitland would be worth it given other areas they could spend.

Dunno about Maitland, given Glasgow’s problems at full back. I guess it comes down to how much he would cost - perhaps Glasgow could offer to pay half his wages while saracens pay the other half and it gets done that way?

We could give Maitland a concession to sell doughnuts at Scotstoun - called, say, Dodson’s Doughnuts - and set up a separate vehicle to fund it.

I understand such structures are all the rage these days and totally legit.

Actually Maitland as a fullback is not a bad shout.

Seems unlikely for a 19 year old. Probably a parent or grandparent.

None of the articles about his call up bother mentioning it  They only say he played for us at U18 before moving to the England 7s squad.

Toulouse v Clermont tomorrow and no Richie Gray in the Toulouse 23. Injured maybe?
Greig Laidlaw will be on the bench for Clermont.
Alex Dunbar is in Brive's starting XV for the away match in Castres.

Fraser Strahan on the bench for Northampton. Think that will be his debut if he gets on.

Finn Russell is straight back into Racing's starting XV against Stade Français for whom Strauss starts.

Harris imposing himself vs Toulouse more than I think I've seen from him before at club level.

Have to say I thought he played well. I’d have no problem bringing him back next year.

I say that with 2 minutes to go...

Yes, and a great second half from Toulouse earns them the win.

Finn Russell and Callum Hunter-Hill playing against each other for Racing and Saracens at the mo, but can I watch it? Can I fuck. I have to go and clean the car before it gets dark as I said I would do it about 2 weeks ago. Oh well.

What was the story behind CHH leaving edinburgh? Have heard there was a bit more to the story than was made public.

Hutchinson and Russell scores two very entertaining tries. Hutchinson seems to score most times he plays in the last year or so.

I saw someone hinting at this on Twitter, I've got no idea what happened though and they didn't spill the beans.

He's an Edinburgh player for a while yet so it's a moot point really. It's a loan deal.
