Here HP, do you reckon Hogg could have done more to prevent their two tries? I'm definitely guilty of giving him a hard time but that's not good enough IMO.

Wasn't watching, just following twitter and forums. His defence needs work alright, I've seen him down all sorts in the past but he's not making some crucial ones. Something for Toonie to work him on.

Good result for the weeg, unfortunately I think Munster will win the group but the weeg might scrape through.

If Leicester beat Munster next week (ha) then I still think Munster will win on bonus points.

I reckon they can reasonably expect 10 points from racing now who are out and won't care.

Reasonable to expect 10 points from one of the best teams in Europe? Even if they are out and put their seconds on the pitch that isn't a reasonable expectation Java.

Especially as 10 is not achievable. They have "only" gt 4 points from todays game

Which should be easier for a coach like Toonie to work on a player like Hogg. Not happened yet....... It'll come. Or Rennie will rip him a new arsehole.

Grand. Pyrgos has been top dog for a long while now due to lack of experienced and on form options, having a hard choice between the two is good for the team.

And whilst the weeg defence was, on the whole, superb those stats will likely be propped up by blokes like Gray, Brown, Harley, Wilson and Favaro who smashed everything and missed nothing (at least whilst its fresh in my mind). Reid, Hogg and Swinson probably missed every second tackle they attempted. Big gulf in class in some of those Glasgow players today when it came to that defensive effort.

PS Bennett was also excellent when he came on. He was looking for the intercept every time RM attacked and as a result they were too scared to pass the ball wide.

That's harsh on Swinson and Reid. Both do the unfancied donkey work and never rest. I don't know if they had a bad day at the office, but if so it was literally just that.

Get in. Good to see the real Glasgow back.

Line speed was impressive, led by Favaro.

Thought Wilson was outstanding alongside usual suspects such as Gray, Dunbar. Russell's play to put Dunbar in for the try was a beaut. Flat to the line, half show of the ball and then a flat pass.

Scrum setpiece was solid. Think Naka had the jump on us / calls in the lineout.

Got to follow it up next week.
