Ford's defence has been great for such a small guy. That's not the first time that he's stopped North in full flow.
Have to say that so far England are good value for the championship but feel that this Welsh team was there to be beat. Where have all of their wings going?

Very good aggressive defence from England. Wales had to over commit to a lot of the rucks in the run up to that last England penalty. That was excellent jackleing to get that penalty.

Cuthberts form has all but abandoned him. It always seems luck abandons you at the same time when that happens.
Agreed on Ford, although he would do well to stop using his face to do it.
Nissan.

Fall of the Soviet Union I'd imagine.

Just there now, that looked like it went backwards from the Welsh player, then forwards of the English lad. Not sure, but I think Norths try should have stood.

Awful second half. Desperately tried to throw that away. It's hard not to admire Wales in those situations, regardless of how crap they mostly are for the first hour.

I woke up for the fight back. Priestland is a knob. I had England by 6 - 10

Good to see Joubert reffing to his usual high standards.
Comes to the conclusion that Francis was reckless and makes contact with the eyes, warns him there might be more punishment after the game and then gives only a penas. Mind boggling from the ref. I've read some say it was a nothing incident but having reached his conclusion he clearly bottled it.

Decided to pop over to the IMB to see what they made of the game... no posts since 10 days ago. There's more chat about Ireland v Italy on the SMB... The times certainly are a changing.

Could we be looking at Italy's worst 6N to date? Wales are gonna do them hard.

PS that was a decent break from Sarto earlier in the game wasn't it? If he quits Italy the same way Favaro has then it's a pretty canny signing for the weeg.

Wales being ridiculously wasteful despite absolutely dominating Italy. Could well be going in at the break just a couple of scores ahead.

Biggar to Roberts was forward. Why not check it? Great break and interlinking though.
