Harum scarum start. Nice pop by Dell to Maitland, shame it wasn't Seymour or Hogg. Bombed try by Jones too!

Just noticed that was Dell with the turnover and swan pass to maitland. Is he really a LH... Brilliant play.

First scrum looked OK. Stable but then again the French aren't going to faff around with their own ball in that position.

Not quite sure how that is a pen. I thought we've been very well behaved at the ruck so far.

Clever by Jones to identify where the ball.ball . was and clamp.on there.

Superb defence. Need to be careful with the overlaps

Dell & Jones bring a lot more nous to the team.

Well that was diabolical. Can't afford to knock on there.

Hoggy you absolute beauty. Where would we be without him?

Lovely by Jones.

The French 9 has to make Hogg do more there but who cares!!

Game plan is a bit weird though. 14 phases of Laidlaw passing to a forward at first receiver.

To be fair it would have been a walk in for Watson had he passed it.

Really unlucky with the kick.

How long was that advantage for?

Surely that is advantage over? Definite pen from Watson though.

France are hammering us on the attack, I'm quite relieved they're happy to kick for the posts.

Scottish defense right in their faces. Fantastic.

France are very good today but very concerned about Peyper. We're not getting the rub of the green.

Scrum is starting to creak now. We can't make mistakes and allow them to scrum us off the park.

Brilliant defence but we can't allow their guys to make breaks like that. They're looking for the offload every time and it's only a matter of time until an ummarked runner is on their shoulder... very edgy stuff at the moment.

Offside line non-existant for both sides. French 13 very impressive.
