Tam Allen must be thinking what could have been.

Send the heavies & centres, a couple of inside balls to Seymour down there and we'll make big metres and send their defence into disarray. We've not exploited it enough IMO. There are big holes there.
Tempo, tempo, tempo. Make it a cardio test and we win and find gaps in the last 15.

Would like to see us play a little more rugby this half. Don't like all the tactical kicking on the half way, feels like a turnover to me. Not that we should stop it completely, but maybe, just run a bit more ball, we are getting reasonable purchase out of their defence.

Why are we box kicking in that position? Make good yardage, a few more phases we'd be in a good attacking position. Wasteful.

I'm sure it can't be fair for the ref to fallout a layer by name and telling him to stop.

Like then? We were in their half with the ball in hand. A minute later Italy have an attacking position in our 22. It might well win over the 80 but the fans deserve a better performance after last week, there are gaps all over the place.

F*ck me italy are dire yet we're allowing this to be a contest. Italy are not stopping us running riot - we are.

What is it about Italy that brings out this side in the team?

There's going to be another card if we keep infringing like this in the red zone.

Huge again from Hogg (Their winger is like a deer in the headlights though).

He's looking at Hogg instead of the line. They are awful and we really should be burying this rabble.

scotland has really been making hard work of this. If Italy had any ability to finish it could have been ugly. They will probably now completely fade and the scoreline will start to look good for Scotland but not a great performance to end the championship

Agreed. Even if we BP it we have been absolutely shocking today. The difference? Italy are f*cking abyssal. The other 4 teams would put 60+ on the Italy that showed up today.

I know there are still 15 or so mins to play but the fans deserved a better performance than this after that game last week.

I think I just made my point about the fans deserving a better performance - they're doing a Mexican wave.

How to butcher a certain BP win - by Scotland, aged 4.

Just awful.

Italy are woeful. Georgia et al, will be looking at this and thinking they're getting shafted.

Patient play. Job done. It really did look in doubt for long periods of that game.

Hogg has had an assist or scored pretty much most of our tries, no? Probably our player of the tournament with Fagerson getting an honorable mention.

Oh I've had enough of this. There's mocker god's and there's pointless self-flagellation. We have a bonus point and Italy are currently on nil. We currently cant do any better than this without getting into points difference which is so remote as to be utterly pointless. Stadium is full and we've scored four tries, just take some joy in life.

Superb maul turnover from Swinson. I can't be the only one thinking he's having the best season of his career? Just superb this year.
