I wasn't trying to slag off Hardie actually, just that Watson's tackle off the scrum was fucking immense.
Was it you that mentioned Visser running in to touch at the end? That was fucking dreadful. It's funny that years back we all wanted him to come in to the side, being literally the only player in Scotland capable of scoring a try, and now that we can actually score tries ourselves his various shortcomings really don't look worth the risk. I feel like Jones should get a run there.
I think any of Hogg, Price, Russell would have made a massive difference but you're right the mindset seemed all wrong. Maybe a good lesson to learn though? We've got to ditch this underdog thing if we want to be a top team, but we seemed to leap a few steps ahead here to being complacent against a team we saw as perhaps not being a realistic threat?
