I would quite like to see a pen for crawling along the ground after the tackle has been made.

Now, we'll find out just how good Jones is. He has to change something substantial to get us back in the game. How do we sort the scrum out? Has Marler got to come on?

Yep. We’ve been dreadful so far. Just haven’t turned up.

Youngs and Daly have been particularly awful.

I'd definitely take Ford off, move Farrell to FH and Tuilagi to IC. Spencer? Could not be worse than Youngs.

Getting bested in contact. Not sure what to do to change that. That said, it’s all irrelevant if we don’t sort the scrum.

Yeah it’s all about changing the backs Dors. That’ll really help the scrum and getting duffed up in the loose.

Spencer has to be worth a gamble

All irrelevant if we can’t win the battle/gain parity in the forwards.

The semifinal waa really good rugby union. This is the flipside of that. Scrumwang and cynicism. Shite.

England need to fake a front row injury and go to uncontested scrums

England getting mullered in the scrums - seems as though it's mainly down to Cole.
Thank god Willie le Roux is totally crap, or SA would probably be well ahead.

Spencer for Youngs and Slade for Daly and we might have a chance. Otherwise, cant see it if they carry on as they have

I honestly don’t know why you’d want Ford off when we’re chasing the game?

Agreed on Spencer though. Youngs has been truly terrible.

Last week everyone played well. This week everyone is playing terribly. See if Jones can sort out their head space.

Will we see Kruis on for Curry/Underhill?

Agreed, to an extent but our kicking is so bad when we get the ball that we are constantly having to win it back. If we kicked less and better, we would not be so exposed in the forward arm-wrestle.

The scrum needs sorting now the ref has decided everything is our fault.

Surprised at Cole getting mullered by Mtawarira. God knows how he's gonna cope when Kitshoff comes on.

Me too. Haven’t been given in years though, unless you try to score a try at the end of crawling, then it’s double movement.

As bad as we have been, it’s only 6 points.

If we can get any kind of score early in the second half, we’re back in it.

I think there’s a try out there for us somewhere. Not much we can do about the scrum, we just need to stop making such basic errors and have some of the damn ball.

Ford is kicking badly and has done little else. I'd cheerfully take Farrell off instead but Tuilagi has to move to 12.

You can fck about all you want in the backs, it’s up front where the damage is being done. We can’t contain their physicality- and what’s surprising is that we seem surprised out there (and on here)
