I do enjoy watching Connacht play. Not firing on all cylinders in the first 20 mins though.

Ritchie could hold the 6 shirt for Scotland for many years to come when he breaks through. Great player.

Is Hugh Dan usually this clueless with players names?

Gutting for Scott

Matt Scott could probably do with joining Gilchrist and Dunbar on a nice wee holiday for the rest of the season. Never fit. Looks like an injury lay off again.

Edinburgh front row are nothing without their first choice lads. No depth. Monstered at scrum time. Maul rampages through the defence as well.

Connacht are getting good territory and chipping away at the scoreboard, I just don't see where Edinburgh's points are going to come from?

SHC not building a great rapport with the ref, coming across as a bit whingey. Is he captain or Cochrane?

Good work from the pair.

Cochrane is capt.

Great defence but that is criminal finishing from a wing. Dive over the line mate... Edinburgh are let off but a man down now.

Great pass from cdp good break from Hoyland and did well not to get too isolated.

Aye brilliant from the pair of them. Edinburgh then consequently faffed it up and now Connacht are well down the pitch lol.

Fair call. Got to take advantage in the 2nd half

Slow ball, only ever run at 1st or 2nd receiver. Aimless. Burleigh with a beautiful run sideways across half the pitch...

Restarts lost them the match. Some very good play (Hoyland, Watson, Ritchie, CDP in particular) at times and good determination to get back into it. Kinghorn missed 1? last week, why was he not kicking? Hoyland was an absolute menace.

So frustrating to watch.

We are like the kid that seems to have to relearn everything... Every game. If we'd adopted the game plan we had in the second half from the get go, we might have had a chance.

We tried... As we seem to do at the start of every game, to play the game without having the ball. It just invites teams to attack for 40 minutes. It's horrendous to watch a team try and win by attempting to force errors from their opponents attack. I refuse to believe the reward in that is worth the risk. It doesn't balance.

Anyway, there goes the season. Not to flippantly throw this in at the end, but, playing the way we have at points this season, it might be a better thing not to qualify for the big boys cup. You give some of the cats in it that comp that much ball... Christ.

Dire. Solomons and his coaching team are the problem IMO. There are some weak links in the team but not enough to warrant these kind of performances. They have no game plan. Well.. not one that makes the most of the boys they have.
