Late change as Gus Hall comes in for Waghorn. England currently lead 14 v 10.
In other news Argentina beat the Baby Boks again

Penalty England. Kerr slots it. 17 v 17

Ireland nudge ahead again. Neither side dealing with restarts well! 17 v 20

And off the subsequent restart England end up going over in the corner! Kerr can’t convert his own try. 22 v 20 at half time.
Cracking game but also very sloppy. England scrum is a thing of beauty!

Second half starts as the first finished with end to end stuff. England knock on. And then just destroy the Irish scrum again. Got to be thinking yellow soon!

England take the first points of the half with a pen for not rolling away. 25 v 20
Ireland replace their whole front row…..

The lazy will try the old trope of England being tin shifters, but their work in the pack shows serious technique. We’ve given away a lot of weight in this tournament and dominated in the tight!

Referee asking from an offside at a kick - "Do you want the penalty on the halfway line, or the scrum on the 22?"
Not much of a decision for England!

Irish replacement tighthead deciding to ruffle Opoku-Fordjour's hair before a scrum reset. Bold choice... and he's just been folded in half. Cockiness only works if you can back it up.

Another scrum penalty and England open up an 8 point lead. Ireland now on a warning at scrum time.
28 v 20

Yeah….of all the things to do when your predecessors have been man shamed; this was not a wise choice!!

Plus there's the very unfortunate image of mocking a black man through playing with his hair - I'm absolutely certain that it was not intentionally racial from the Irish player, but I've also no doubt that it wound AOF up and I would suggest that the Irish front row should be treating the English front row like they're three Bruce Banners right about now.

I think he was just being a nob and trying to get under Asher’s skin. Not a wise move!

Momentum feels one way at the moment. Defence now dictating too. Need to capitalise and open the scoreboard up!

Oh yeah, 100% he didn't intend it that way and didn't realise that it's a very common trigger for black people. Just noting it probably raised the anger levels.

Our back play is so inconsistent! Occasionally wonderful but so many simple errors that just undo our good work.

Though to be fair they’re out 3rd/4th choice and arguably lower bit for injuries in the junior ranks. We’ve stuttered thoroughly the tournament though regardless of 9/10

Big win but feels like losing Michelow, Redshaw and Kpoku to injury when already missing Sela, McFarland and Taylor will be too much for the final.
