That's a great move for him as Evans will have his game time managed significantly. Hopefully he gets lots of minutes and Vern takes note. I'd love to see Jackson in the 22 shirt for Scotland.

I'm happy with that all round. Hopefully he can learn something about composure from Evans because they're fairly similar in terms of style and raw materials. Evans certainly won't be playing every game.

Reading through the "ins and outs" of the English premiership I noticed the elder Ford is headed to Yorkshire C. Can't be good for Leonards chances of slipping back to 10.

So Hamilton & Taylor are now ERC winners. It's going to become increasingly difficult to ignore Taylor from a Scotland POV.

Besides Hines & McMillan are there any other Scottish winners? Possibly an obvious one.

Yeah it's not something to be scoffed at is it. Well done to them. Especially Taylor but good to see big Jammy still bopping about with his spindly little legs and enormous upper body.

Nothing "official" just a couple of Twitter accounts. One is a rugby transfer account, the other was a Welsh rugby news account. Could be complete b0llocks.

Just saw a Cardiff Blues blogger tweet that he's not heard anything and thinks it's unlikely.

What is it Fife does? I've seen him run in a few tries, quite quickly, but there's presumably more.

Not a worldbeater but prob an upgrade on Tom James.

Or it could just be his agent spreading a rumour or two.

Fair enough. Ive seen very little but would not have thought 'powerful' was the word. I was going to say he looks even more lightweight than Lee Jones, but the way he's playing now at Glasgow rather backs up your second point.

Oh he's no Lamont, North etc. Powerful was the wrong word, more through a combination of power and skill he tended to win the collisions.

I think a Lee Jones comparison is a good one. Sometimes a player just runs out of steam at a club and needs a move and I think it applies to Fife.

He hasn't really kicked on since being capped.

Still think he had a few years left in the tank but nobody can blame him. The latter part of his time at LI was a blip in a decent career otherwise. Starting from scratch and earning your place at a new club is a big ask in your 30s with a medical degree...
