You missed a couple:
Uren - Treviso
Morahan - Bayonne
Whiteley - Leicester
Muldoon - Connacht
Wilstead (academy 10) - ?

It seems we'd offered both lloyd and Jeffries a deal only for last minute deals for them both came in. Hopefully it means we have more cap to play with but not sure who is available.. Perhaps we can keep CP as a normal player.

Plus I would hope there's marquee to come and replace Semi. Perhaps big nasty forward who can drive the side forward.

Given the number of players potentially on the market I suspect you should be naming some signings and fairly decent ones shortly.

Seems about the right time of year to point to the overall confirmations:

Of course, mid-season signing and departures come under the 2022-23 season list

Nephi Leatigaga leaves Tigers immediately to take up a contract with the Waratahs. Out of contract at the end of the season and was expected to move on so not a surprise.

Hopefully frees up funds to keep West.

Pleasepleaseplease. Was saying on another thread how good he's been - if I was picking our everyone fit 1st XV right now, he'd probably be ahead of Cronin.

The salary cap manager is going to be working overtime this year. You've got to imagine everyone is playing it very, very legal right now, given previous events, but you get the impression that every single loophole and allowance is being used to accomodate the sudden availability of Wasps/Wuss players (and then the knock-on effect of players being available after being ditched for Wasps/Wuss players). Mid-season signings, short term deals, injury dispensations, players being loaned in and out, players not being used for the 1st XV so their salaries don't count, players coming back from long term injury and immediately being shipped off to South Africa - I'd imagine it's all within the rules, but will come with a metric butt-tonne of paperwork.

Sean O'Brien (not that one) leaves Exeter for Munster, grumbling on his way out: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/65316233

So what he's really saying is that he wasn't good enough to get a regular gig with Chiefs but hopes to with Munster.

Best of luck to him but landing a consistent Munster first-team slot will be very tough.

On a wider note, Chiefs' clearout continues.

O'Brien typifies for me exactly the kind of signing that the Prem could do without. A non EQP journeyman, who could easily be replaced by an academy youngster or someone from the Championship.

I was thinking of freeing up cap space for next season. This season we should be fine and it's more a case of not needing Leatigaga with him down the pecking order and him wanting to be closer to home.

That being said I doubt you're wrong. There's been a lot of wheeling dealing with most of the clubs in the league this season.

Ioan Lloyd has been a big fat disappointment in reality, hasn’t he? Remember Ugo saying he would be his wildcard pick for the 2021 Lions tour. Now he’s lucky is he makes the Bristol bench, even when they have injuries.

Still young, though.

Not helped that he's bounced around positions and spent the most time playing the one he's least best at.

Not sure the Scarlets is the best move either as they've said he's signed as a flyhalf but will be sat behind Costelow in the pecking order. Had he gone to the Dragons or maybe Cardiff he'd have at least been the go to 10.

Tom Collins is leaving Saints, but don't know where to. Big loss in my opinion - always dangerous ball in hand. Very under played over the years.

Hasn't that been the case for about 15 months?

First I'd heard of it; I'd thought he was going to France.

As did I, but DT dropping strong hints of a Sarries move. It might be contract poker, but if true would keep him England-available post RWC. And as he's still a very dangerous runner/great finisher, that would be handy.

Agreed. I'd've had him as a starter and he seems to make an impact every time he gets a chance, but successive Saints regimes haven't seemed to want much to do with him. Hopefully he does really well wherever he ends up.

Sorry, I'd thought it was a fairly widely known thing - must have just been in the Bath circles.
He had always wanted to return to London, with a strong preference for Sarries throughout his stay at Bath (presumably except when they were in the Champ); and it was widely rumoured that he had an informal agreement to go to Sarries after 1 year at Leicester, but couldn't go straight due to space in the cap (I know, Sarries, right?).

Of course, that wouldn't rule out the possibility of French money tempting him away, but his intention always seemed to be Sarries.
Equally of course, it's rumour and overheard conversations in pubs.

He’s a good player. It’ll be a shame to have to hate him now. Ditto Tom Willis.

He's certainly been open and honest about wanting to be back near family. Tigers fans have generally expected him to go what with it being a well known one year deal.
