Sadly expect that all this ridiculous frenzy will cost us a few red cards for no reason in the future..

If the new directive is that anything high is a red, then the ABs (and all teams) need to adjust to that. Hopefully the ruling is applied evenly and the ABs get a fair shake.
Losing teams complaining about winning teams tactics is nothing new, I remember the ABs complaining about Aussy dummy runners when they were wining, about English mauling in 2002-3. It's tough at the top.

True. I guess all involved are still figuring it out. Hopefully we'll see consistency going forward. Not holding.my breath.

I assume because while it was probably a yellow card offence, it was also a long way short of being a red card offence.

No more than I thought Cane's was. However as it is not actually up to me it, or it seems the ref and tmo, then the citing panel has the ability to look and make a judgement. If Sexton's was referred I expect you would be in a position to post:
Sexton rightly cleared.
As the system hasn't chosen to cite him then the cloud of suspicion will always remain I guess.

Taking that into account, and how Sexton got away with what was at least a sin-bin level offence, this entire episode has made the Irish look like hypocritical whingy crybabies more than anything, really. Ah now, to be fair, Ireland handled the physical version OK in Chicago when they stuck 40 points on the AB's. Good series. Honours even.

very true. 40 points. But can they stop complaining about the last game now. They knew NZ would be fired for the Aviva game. And NZ were punished duly for any bad tackles. So can Ireland just say congrats and lets hope we play again soon.

I don't think there has been too much whinging from true Ireland rugby fans who know a bit about the game. Yes the media are doing a bit of moaning, but then so are the NZ media types who can themselves often be a tad precious when the ABs are concerned.

If you want every single person in ireland to do so then I suggest you go talk to them.

Isnt there a video of the Irish team manager whinging away about the big nasty boys in black being a bit too rough? The way its going and reading a piece the other day about World Rugby possibly going down the route of tackles only below the waist the bloody game will be ruined soon.

Just rewatched the game. Couple of things. The Irish commentators weren't quite as bad as I remember them being. The other thing, I don't think the Irish have too much to moan about reffing wise.
