Fair, but, most top sides in the modern age have a battering ram in the centre - or they at least want one. Non'u, Kuidrani, Roberts etc. We're currently stuck with one, perpetually broken, option.

No idea what the answer is. Lawrence looks good but he picked up an injury that prevented another look at him internationally.
I tend to agree that Manu being out is a massive issue, but it's not like we haven't had issues at 12 since what.... 2004? Sticking Faz there is just a joke.
