A tight game but we have got to keep hold onto the ball. Tackling has improved and we’re still in it.

How can we be so bad when we have the ball?

And Biggar and Williams should have been the other way round.

Not a bad turnover there. It’s difficult to see where wales will score any more points at the moment

When Owen Williams was tacked in the air injuring him, the assistant ref had his flag out level indicating foul play. The ref just ignored it and let play on.

A small step forward, I feel. England were pretty dominant, but we fought well all things considered.

No it wasn’t. England were nowhere near as good as Scotland and Ireland. We need a game plan.

Daft tactic to keep kicking the ball to Steward all day long.

England were shit. If we had been half competent we would have won. Unfortunately we aren't close to half competent.

Once again our inability to keep the ball hurts us or to win quick ball

We got a lucky interception try. Other than that, we 'created' 3 points against a shit England team that conceded 14 at home to Italy.

Away to Italy next and that’s not going to be much fun.

Agreed, all that kicking, giving the ball away. If that’s the tactic, pick Reffell at 7.

That said, if the attack is so blunt you end up kicking it away every time anyway.

Compare this to the other match today, if England had played that badly against Italy they'd have lost, if they'd played that badly against Ireland they have lost by 30. Play that badly against Wales and they win by 10.

God almighty we're poor at the moment.

Yes, they look as if they are growing in competence. France could be our decider for the wooden spoon and whitewash! I

Just nowhere near good enough. Absolutely nothing in attack. Most of our points came from a huge error from England (even if I did enjoy that moment quite a bit).

No idea what Gatland is trying to do but he's making the most of the 'blame it on the last guy' period by losing a ton of matches.

Defence seemed better this time but England didn't test us anything like Ireland and Scotland did. Both teams missed 15 tackles.
WALES Successful tackles Missed tackles
L HalfpennyFB 2 1
J AdamsW 5 3
M GradyC 8 0
J HawkinsC 6 1
L Rees-ZammitW 4 3

D LewisR 2 1
D JenkinsR 4 0
T ReffellR 3 0
K HardyR 5 0
D BiggarR 6 0
N TompkinsR 6 0

Our wingers were the worst, missing 3 each. Tips the best: 17 made, 0 missed. Grady wasn't the liability I feared (8 made, 0 missed) but didn't make much ground, 16m vs 42 by Hawkins.

I'd like to see Keiran Williams given a shot - he's someone who can carry. But much more, I'd like Gatland to remember how to coach.

Little HP is as brave as they come. He certainly took a few for the team today. But he seems to have lost significant pace and is no longer the attacking threat of old. He's on something like 96 caps. I'd like to see him make the ton and retire. (I am still pissed that Peter Stringer only got to 98 and certainly had another couple in him.)
