Agreed. Also think CCS has looked very good every time he’s had the ball.

Funny one, innit? Ambition but inaccurate. Not at all convinced by either centre to be honest. Fiji were deserving their lead but that was a daft card to concede and England will be grateful for getting the initiative back!

Yeah he's been absolutely immense. Taking most of the line outs too

Jesus, it's not a red... the rules are just so inconsistently applied.

I said it would be tough with this backrow. It's not balanced.

I think Curry over Earl (I don't care which one) would work.

Personally I think the backs are the issue. Lawrence seems off the boil, Dingwall is a bit ehhh, Marcus needs to be at 10 and both IFW and Tommy have been a little underwhelming

Not sure Fin Smith is doing his chances many favours here, not been great, imo.

Yeah, Healy was complaining about the penalty, but I'm with the ref here, it's dozy from England yet again, and we've conceded again. Just pure doziness. It's not a system failure, it's a mental failure. We're not stepping up. Leadership lacking. George will help now, and Curry and Pollock will help in the backrow, too.

Marcus needed to do better there.
Stole time, and didn't commit the defence.

Lawrence tried to inject urgency to give Freeman the spac back,, but wasn't clinical with the pass

Was an awful pass from Lawrence, too.

Harsh yellow I thought. Maybe I missed the warning.

Maybe, to be fair. I didn’t notice it, but certainly not every score.

I’m not sure England deserve to be ahead right now, regardless of how much I hate that song.

Also, did I really hear Healey suggest that Mitchell gets dropped for Spencer?

We have really lacked control / structure which I think Sloppy Bolognese will not be happy with. Don’t think FSmith or Lawrence have done much to advance their cause.

MSmith had a reasonable game and Arundell looked electric in his cameo.

CCS was superb but still feel his role will be as a last 30 player - our Kwagga Smith.

Some good bits, some not so good. A few players stepped up, others served up sub par efforts. Its really difficult to know where we are right now. NZ should focus the mind and will hopefully see a far more rounded performance.

Williams is such a biased ref a 1 metre forward pass from freeman to Earl leading to a try waved through
