Could it not just be that the management are starting to realise he's not cut out for this level of rugby and that Tovey is a far better fly half?
Together isn't a better flyhalf at all. He has some nice skills but his decision making is catastrophic and we end up gifting away the ball cheaply and struggling to get it back. He is and always has been a highlights reel player.

He would have scored anyway but he clearly wasn't bound right in front of the ref.

SHC must be the only 9 that puts the ball in straight. To a hooket that is told not to hook. Sums Edinburgh up atm

What a lazy bunch of shites. Bresler having a wee rest on the ground while the scrum half nips down the unguarded blindside. Kinghorn who must be almost 6 and a half feet gets bounced by a wee scrum half on a 1 on 1 as well.

Agreed but wouldn't have been in that position had Bresler bothered to to get back into position after making the tackle.

La Rochelle really are a delight to watch though aren't they? Some very explosive players in that team.

Think Kinghorn is having a real dip recently. Horrible season for a youngster to be involved in but at the moment Bryce is a better option

Thought Bressler may have been injured?

He got back up 10 seconds later and has been playing since?

Well worked try.

Hodge has been shocking with player management.

Kinghorn and Toolis in particular have been run into the ground.

Edinburgh have given the ball back to La Rochelle about 5 times in as many minutes. How many chances do you want to win the game?!

Embras error count kills them.

Watson is wasted in that team...would look good in blue and black..
