(It’s most likely cos they’re broke but I’m trying to look clever)
Could be they're broke could be that Falcons have got a number of forwards out injured and this gives Diamond the funds to go and get some replacements.

Got to be a good move for Radwan, who was a peripheral figure at a struggling Falcons. Now can Tigers get the best out of him.

Looks like Seabrook to Leicester is happening too. Think that’s a reasonable squad pick up considering their wing depth. Never let anyone down at Saints.

Hugh Bokenham to Glaws.

He used to play a bit of centre at Glaws as well. Could just be a nice bit of squad cover in the short term. Woodward coming through this season means Kelly doesn't need a like for like replacement (though I'd still have rather kept him). An experienced squad man to hold down those positions for a year or two whilst the next batch of youngsters develop through. At centre Myall and Davies in the back three Pearson, Kinder and Satala.

I’ve heard Kinder is a good egg. It’ll be a surprise if he doesn’t break through.

Seems a bit young for a pro contract though - boy against men

In other news, Bath have announced "long-term" contract extensions for Lee Blackett (IMO, the best signing from the defunct clubs) and Richard Blaze
ETA: and JP Ferreira

Bristol on the look out for another 10, we've lost 4 to injury at present. The injuries at lock are looking better though (we had 6 out the other week).

Looks like Batley is out for a while though. Surgery on his toe which is a nightmare following on from another injury. Hope he gets back before end of the season as we need him to come through as another tight lock option.

Think he's the only one still standing. Williams and Worsley injured in Europe with Malins and MacGinty already out.

Anything on the Leicester scuttlebutt about a Dan Kelly move to Munster?

Rumours were he was open to the move last summer but Munster were too cheap to pay out the remainder of his contract so Leicester were unwilling to play ball. Munster look certain to get him this summer. I think he'll do well there, good all round centre with a physical edge in defence. Has had issues refinding his best form after a hamstring injury in the season Tigers won the title. Noticeable that Tigers attack faltered with that injury though and since we've not had any consistency in coaches.

Scottish media reporting that Jack Mann will join Gloucester on a three year deal from Glasgow.

https://www.theoffsideline.com/jack-mann-gloucester/

He's a 6/8 who has had a horrible few years with injury but has strung 5 or 6 games together over the last two months and has looked great (and just broken into the Scotland squad).

5 or 6 games, straight into the Scotland squad and secured a move south, you say. Is he Australian?

Haha, fair question, but nope, as Scottish they come I think. Taken from club rugby a few years ago (like Tom Jordan to be fair) and then all sorts of injuries before his chance. First pro appearance in 2022. Second one in November 2024!

Disappointed he is leaving Glasgow actually, but cost cutting going on.

I faintly remember him being hyped by Scottish fans around the time of him coming through the under 20s, he's then just had no luck with injuries. Seems to be finally having a break out season now. Gloucester might be taking a punt whilst he's still relatively cheap.

Great news to have re-signed LChessum. Was very concerned when the rumours of him going to Exeter came through.

Seems to have gone grim BUCS and excelled at Championship level. A good punt by Bristol to back up Byrne. If he impresses won't be expensive to keep for next season either.

Cam Henderson has also agreed a new deal at Tigers.
