Big on adjectives, even bigger on ego, but very little in the way of common sense or policy.

Bear in mind that was his big push to sock it to fake news. His major focus was a casual claim of criminal wrong doing by the previous team against the background of possible war crimes and ambiguous health and tax directives, all peppered with claims of "massive deals" "the biggest deals". He is a fucking imbecile.

Is Elijah Cummings on drugs? R just taking the piss? The Susan Rice story seems to be a lot of hot air, and that from the master at complaining about so called fake news.

He is just fucking thick. He is floundering because he is fucking thick. Everything going down and he insists on hosting the Chinese President at a Florida golf resort. Jesus christ.

This is after months of running unfavourable stories on the cockwomble...in the Beeb's defence on that, it would've been hard to write favourable stories on the twat given the crap he has said and done.

It just goes to show that if Trump toes the western line, he'll get some flattering reporting.

Hmmm, I wonder if any of his advisors will cotton on to that idea?
No it shows that they report what he says. If it's nonsense he looks like a cock. If it's not he looks less of a cock.
Yep, it's not as if news agencies have agendas or political bias. The BBC being the bastion of truth and impartiality are a perfect example of this.
Not all news agencies are the same. Even if one assumed that they do have bias, you are simply incorrect in saying that the coverage of Trump even on your own description demonstrates the thing you claim.

Is this to be the West's standard response to problems in the East. Lob a couple of nukes and run away.
No, not a standard response at all. Just a one-off solution to the particular problem of a country of no strategic importance except for that fact is run by a nuclear armed, belligerent loony. Remove the loony and the nuclear capablity and North Korea ceases to have any importance at all - it will just become a run-of-the-mill humanitarian problem until north Koreans work themselves rich like their southern cousins did (or their Japanese former overlords after being nuked themselves).

Indeed, not all news agencies are the same. We're in agreement there. However, they most certainly do have bias which is evident by the fact that the same piece of news can be portrayed in a number of ways depending on where it is being reported.

For the majority of the time Trump was portrayed as an 'idiot' by many news agencies, including the BBC, some agencies were trying to spin his words and actions in a positive manner.

Now the fat orange buffoon has made a stance on Syria that adheres to the western line which questions Russia and opposes Assad, the BBC change their reporting style on the tiny handed tyrant.

They probably had similar feelings to the NZ soldiers who had to dismantle their only operational armoured truck in order to construct a bullet-proof vest that would fit around Gerry Brownlee.

I think on this occasion it was important for the US to be seen as active. Putin has been slapping US diplomacy with his c#ck for a while now.

I think the 'grown ups' have influenced this. I can't say I entirely disagree either. Using chemical weapons against civilians isn't tolerable and Assad obviously thinks that he can get away with it because nothing has happened to him thus far. If this strike has the effect of preventing further chemical weapons attacks then great. Thanks to Russian and Iranian support, Assad probably doesn't need to do that anymore. There will be som diplomatic cock waving, but I can't see the Russians getting too difficult over one attack of this nature. They will protest a bit and tell Assad not to provoke further attacks by keeping it conventional, or else their support will end.

It's maybe a proportional response to the use of chemical weapons, but will similar now be done for barrel bombs given they're hardly discriminate?

And I assume there are already conspiracy theories that both Trump and Putin are happy to blow up a small part of Syria to debunk claims that Trumps is in part a puppet of Putin.

Does anyone think it wasn't staged, to an extent? It targeted an airbase shared by Russians and Syrians, but Russia was informed beforehand and obviously told the sSyrians. Theoretically its a declaration of war but no one is rightly treating it like that, because they have even announced no further action is planned. Its been done for posterity sake.

Although I see the UK couldn't wait to jump in first in backing their big brother's action - so at least thats a real, common response.

The entire situation is a bit iffy tbh, even the chemical attack.

A bit iffy, or another monstrous crime by the Assad regime?

A bit iffy seems a touch soft as a description

I wonder if Trump's approval rating will start to rise as a result of his decisive, heroic action?

He's fucked just about everything up so far with his ill-conceived policies on immigration, healthcare, environment etc which have affected many Americans. Dropping a few missiles on some baddies in a foreign country is bound to boost his image. Especially as he is also standing up to Russia in the process.

U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A....
