Many pundits had him pencilled in. (not so sure myself). I doubt any other English SH will now be considered, though I think old Danny Care is well worth a look on form. He would only have to play 3-4 games in SA, if that. Biggar/Davies, Sexton/Murray and Russell/Price and then at least if pairings don't gel they can fall back on a tried and tested combination.
