I'd have Ardie Savea ahead of the pair of them.Oakboy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 8:50 amEvery time I watch Aldritt play for France, I see a number 8 who is fundamentally constructive and destructive exactly as required. He is the mortar in the brickwork in attack and defence. If I was an international flanker or SH, I'd want to play alongside him. I'd choose him for a World XV just ahead of Doris.

Whatever! The embarrassing crunch is that we went with Billy Vunipola - how far down the rankings is he currently?Spiffy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 3:56 pmI'd have Ardie Savea ahead of the pair of them.Oakboy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 8:50 amEvery time I watch Aldritt play for France, I see a number 8 who is fundamentally constructive and destructive exactly as required. For me, the openside of the tournament so far is Botia of Fiji, with Ollivon not far behind (though Ollivon, while he wears 7, is more of a 6.5.)Banquo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 4:12 pmstick him at openside, job doneSpiffy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 3:56 pmI'd have Ardie Savea ahead of the pair of them.Oakboy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 8:50 am

French normally play left and right. Ardie is a good 8, but imo a better classic 7 (though obvs not playing there for enzed)

We’d be winning by 20 if Arundell were playing.

The error count from the England forwards is woeful. Mitchell looks like he's playing with a hangover as well. At least the backs look half decent ball in hand, that's a nice change.

Mitchell is going to be lucky to make half time. His errors have led to two tries so far.

Surely, for the good of the game, this tmo intervention is far too late.

That’s a bullshit call. All three players had a hand on it. The timing is a joke.

World rugby please ditch TMOs it’s not a bloody criminal court case! - breaks up continuity and dulls preceding - it’s like refs are having homework marked by a bunch of clowns in a call centre
