The guy is a walking disaster. A significant part of modern politics is media management and perception and if they had someone remotely competent then the administration might be doing a bit better. Can you imagine how much that fed his ego? Sat with a major rival and giving a fire order like that, it must have made him feel bigly contented with himself.

This is the wonderful thing about borderline, high functioning psychopaths on the right wing. They just cannot help themselves from eventually letting leash their bile, resentment and prejudice at moments when they should really just shut up. And in fairness to what is a distinctly less than honourable profession, media advisers,.....I get the feeling that only the really shit ones would want to take this job.
