Looks like Pyrgos charges out and creates the dog leg. They did look out numbered by 1 on that side tbf.

Scarlets now ahead despite a man in the bin. 8-10.

Another yellow if you ask me. Someone tries to swing Pat Macarthur around by the neck. Somehow its a pen for offside instead...

Glasgow pretty naive. Expecting decisions to go their way rather than intervening and forcing it their way.

Weak try. All from a superb turnover which they then spilled back to the Scarlets in their own danger zone. Scarlets playing some good phase by phase stuff. Currently look like much more of a unit than the weeg.

This must be really tough to watch for the fans. Every player in black is taking possession for granted. Scarlets are pillaging the ball everywhere.

Clancy bottles another yellow. Jesus. I've seen red for those.

As I said... Glasgow somehow lose the ball 5m off the scarlets line.

This is all your fault Greg. That cockiness is costing Scottish Rugby.

BTW pretty concerned about the murmurs coming out of Glasgow that Strauss has not and will not be offered a new deal. Exeter look to be favourites to sign him with Sale a close second. Would totally understand moving to one of these sides if they offered a better deal than Glasgow but to have no deal on the table is a huge mistake.

Ashe was given a 2 year contract so I'm guessing he is the new first choice.

Glasgow have had it great the last few seasons because they had a whole load of cheap Scottish talent and hit it big on a few of their imports, especially the Fijians and Strauss. Success means that they're going to get paid and there's only so long you can keep finding underpriced gems so some will have to leave.

Aye, but the risk of that is you become a mild rugby version of Arsenal.

If they can't afford to keep them they can't afford it. Scotstoun is only so big afterall and growth has to be sustainable.

I completely agree - it wasn't really a criticism but rather a concern. Rennie will have a much smaller & poorer squad to work with than Toony.

500ish tickets left for Sarries, waiting list for the general sale is 1000! They're asking EPCR and Sarries about getting more.

Surprised Glasgow didn't go with the season ticket > previous scotstoun visitors > general sale release as most clubs do.

They launch Thursday right? I signed up pretty sharpish so I'm optimistic but would be nice if those previous trips worked in my favour!

Wednesday.

Edit: You are correct, Thursday. STH sale ends Wednesday

Reid, Strauss and Bennett all confirmed to be off.

They're gutting the core of the team.

No, Captain Hyperbole, they're not.

They have spent a load of dosh keeping the core of the team: Gray, Pyrgos, Russell, Dunbar, Seymour, Hogg. Plus adding the likes of Jones.

I'm sorry to see Strauss and Bennett go in particular. Love Gordy Reid too - proper Weegie and character and its a great story that you can still come through from the club game outside the pathways / academy system. But don't begrudge him a payday given where he's come from.
