Now one of those reads like imay have been written by the man himself... an hour later... once he'd seen what "he" had written.

Trump has been a much much worse President than I thought possible. I always thought that the idea that he would be impeached and so not finish his presidency was a little far fetched (and frankly wishful thinking). Now I think it's a racing certainty.

I can see him hanging on until the mid-terms - as his approval rating amongst (self-identified) Republicans seems to be holding pretty steady; but come those mid-terms I wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats take control of both houses, in which case, impeachment becomes far more realistic - TBH if it's even a narrow Republican control, impeachment becomes a genuine possibility as they'll have had proof at the polls that he's a catastrophy.

The down side of getting rid of Trump is Pence, and that he's an evangellical bigot who seems to be opposed to most things I stand for.
The plus sides are that Pence is a competent politician and... an actual adult human being who's not going to start a war without meaning to or acknowledging fault.
Pence is probably scarrier in terms of holding office for a second term, and what he can do to America; Trump is far scarier in terms of what he could do to the entire world.

TBH though, I think the most likely end-point for President Trump, will be him quitting, possibly in exasperation that he just doesn't get his own way and aodring fawning from everyone, possibly jumping before he's pushed so that he can claim that it's all on his own terms, possibly even through ill-health (he's 70 after all, not exactly the calmest of people, and seems intent to go to war against the US intelligence services)

You are all being led on by the media, their hatred for trump is spectacular, they want a politically correct stooge as president, they won't leave this guy alone until they get what they want, you lot are pc through and through, although what the benefits are I don't know, are there any?

Do you think he is doing a good job?

Yes, this Trump fellow is a stand up guy. He's not a lying sack of shit with little or no regard for the majority of people he has been elected to represent. He's not a racist, sexist, bigot who has signed executive orders that will cause suffering, distress and even death to many people in his own country. He hasn't signed orders designed to make himself more wealthy by paying less tax. He most certainly isn't the same Trump who has signed over the control of his company to his children in a 'blind trust' and he most certainly isn't the fuckwit who has filled his cabinet with unqualified people, some of whom will also benefit financially from the signed orders. It can't be the Trump who has surrounded himself with right-wing, racist, unstable advisors who's ability to lie using alt-facts is only bettered by the great man himself. Probably not the same Trump who has little idea on how government works, let alone the economy or justice.

Yep, people and the media have been unfair to him based on PC reasons and nothing to do with morality, decency, lack of honesty, let alone law and his immense stupidity.

Have I mentioned his Twitter rants and ramblings? Yep, this guy is on the level for sure.

He does and has stated as much before.

Mind you, he also thinks the world is flat.

A special prosecutor has been appointed to continue the investigation into Russia/Trump campaign ties.

The Democrats got what they wanted, but will they accept the findings?

He's doing as well as he can under the circumstances, the media are on a witch hunt against him. I don't watch the news, I just look at the headlines online, and all I can see is Trump this Trump that, all in a completely negative light, he's had obstacles thrown in his path at every turn with all these judges over turning his immigration orders.
The media seem to think they should decide who gets into power, they didn't want Trump and they are making a big stink about anything and everything he does, its unprecedented, this sort of treatment has never been dished out to an American president before, or to any western leader that I'm aware of.
Its quite clear they don't want a leader who doesn't toe the pc line.

Trump has made few friends in the media, sometimes justified and sometimes over the top, but the key point why his immigration ban was challenged in the courts was the constitution and not the media.

Thankfully, some people in America are more concerned with the supreme law of the United States and not some far-fetched take on all the causes of criminality.

I'm starting to think I must have no idea what PC even means.

Though I do like the clumsiness of the term. Can you imagine anyone criticising a mathematician for attempting to be mathematically correct?

I don't think I have ever been accused of being PC, yet I still consider Trump to be a f*cking idiot.

One of the benefits of being even a touch "PC" is that you are able to identify a complete wrong 'un from a mile off.

Anyone thinking that Trump is in any way a suitable person to be POTUS needs to give their head a wobble.

As a "f*cking idiot" I take offence to that :)

We may have to create a new category for Trump. Its clearly offensive to all the other f*cking idiots out there!

:D

Trump is to go after cocoa. Why isn't clear but he spent a press conference talking about the alarming use of the product so maybe there's madness in the madness

Just seen his itinerary for the next week. That's a very tough little tour. I guess it'll make or break him. If he survives. Was Comey involved in scheduling this tour..?

It will be interesting to see which solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict Trump will favour this week. He likes them both, they both work for him...although maybe he's got a secret solution to the issues that will save the day?

Perhaps a 3 or 4 state solution.

If things come-y to a head this week, Trump could always seek political asylum in the bastion of human rights that is Saudi Arabia.

He'd fit right in there tbh.

It seems the Kushner lad is a person of interest in the Russia probe(s):
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 45916.html

Dodgy looking fwcker. Shame that can't be used as evidence as he'd be bang to rights.

He's conveniently accompanying Adolf Twitler on his overseas holiday to the middle east and Europe. Ivanka will be there too, no doubt championing the rights of women in the ME.

I'm laughing but it isn't funny.
